Botetourt County Library Genealogy Room
A special room at the Fincastle Library is dedicated to genealogical research.
Collections include family history books, Virginia County books, cemetery information and books on Virginia History. Files of loose material are included in addition to the book collections. (Contributions of family history materials are welcome.)
Periodically, classes about genealogical research are offered.

Botetourt County Circuit Court Clerk's Office
Contains collections of primary source materials related to county history including marriage records from 1770 to the present, deeds and other land transactions, probate records, and many other resources. Staff are on hand to assist. For information, call: (540) 473-8274
