genealogy rmA special room at the Fincastle Library is dedicated to genealogical research.

Collections include family history books, Virginia County books, cemetery information and books on Virginia History. Files of loose material are included in addition to the book collections. (Contributions of family history materials are welcome.)

Periodically, classes about genealogical research are offered.

Botetourt County Circuit Court Clerk's Office

Fpo Did You Know

In 2011, 27,000 players, spectators and officials visited the Botetourt Sports Complex. 27,000 drinks, 13,000 sandwiches, 13,000 snacks and 3,300 hot beverages were sold. Recycling efforts doubled from 255 bags to 478.
