Collections include family history books, Virginia County books, cemetery information and books on Virginia History. Files of loose material are included in addition to the book collections. (Contributions of family history materials are welcome.)

Fpo Did You Know

The Jackson and Cowpasture Rivers converge in northern Botetourt to form Virginia's greatest river, the James River. A 16-mile stretch of the river between Eagle Rock and Springwood is the only part of the James that has been designated a Virginia Scenic River.
