- Botetourt County operates water and sewer systems primarily in the southern portion of the County.
- Municipal water and sewer systems are also operated in the Glen Wilton area and a municipal sewer system is operated in the Eagle Rock area. Private water companies operate throughout the County.

Automatic Bank Draft
Automatic Bank Draft (ABD) is now available to water and sewer customers. This pre-authorized payment plan allows utility bill payments to be automaticallly withdrawn from the customer's checking account. For details of the plan, or how to enroll, refer to the informational brochure or contact the Public Works Department.
Payment by Credit Card
Utility bills can be paid online at www.botetourtbillpay.com. You also may use your credit card in the Treasurer’s office, Suite 10, 1 W. Main St. (basement of the County Courthouse), where all County utility bills may be paid by cash or check during their office hours Mon-Fri, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Botetourt County uses PayPal for this online payment feature. To use this credit card service, PayPal charges a convenience fee of 2.2% + $.30 transaction fee. This fee will show up as a separate charge on your bill and Botetourt County does not receive any of this fee.
